Welcome, Bienvenido, Bienvenue

City, county, country, continent, globe. Each in their own context can seem like a vast unknown or a small speck in the universe. As technology and society progress it can become easy to get caught up in the day to day bustle, and forget about what is around us. Thinking on this, we, Elle and Kat, decided that we wanted to see more of this amazing world. While our city, and really county seem small to us, we decided to move up the chain and explore our country...America.

While it is just one country, the amount of opportunities available in the US can't be beat. From beaches to mountains, lakes, and deserts. There is so much to see that we would be fools to ignore it, and not take the chance to discover what is out there. With this, we have decided to start traveling and exploring this great nation(and be super patriotic about it *cue "This Land is your Land"*)

Our goal is to travel to four or five different places a year. Why a year? Well travel sounds great and all, but there is the small concern of a price tag. With our small goal, we will be able to enjoy the travel and not completely destroy our bank accounts, a win win really. At this point you probably think this is a great idea, but we really just sound like every other travel blog online. Our difference though is we will be traveling to all these places in just one day. Our flights will arrive early morning, we will spend the whole day in our chosen destination, and then we will fly home late that night. Crazy you say? Why yes, it is, but we can significantly reduce our bill by not worrying about hotel rooms. Plus we can sleep on the plane. #whoneedssleep
